In order to carry out work around the annual center of the group and enhance the awareness and ability of various departments of the headquarters to serve the grassroots, from April 6th to 19th, Suzhong Construction carried out a reporting and exchange activity among functional departments of the headquarters. Group President Chen Yongming, Vice Presidents Gu Shaojun, and Wang Debing participated in the entire event, with responsible executives and department employees participating in corresponding department activities.
This event changes from the previous focus on job reporting to in-depth communication among departments, aiming to fully listen to the truth, exchange ideas, and effectively improve the service capabilities and professional level of the headquarters. The 16 functional departments of the headquarters participated in a special report and exchange activity one by one. The heads of each department reported on the implementation of the department's key work in 2021, the department's work ideas and targeted measures in 2022, and the current group's suggestions on risk prevention and transformation development. They highlighted their performance, shared data, discussed ideas, and measures, with clear focus and goals. Some of the suggestions and ideas put forward were highly ideological and targeted. Employees at all levels of the department should discuss their work experiences and ideas freely based on their positions. The group leaders who participated in the event provided feedback on each report and made requirements for improving the department's functional work.

Chen Yongming provided personalized summaries and comments on the reports of each department. He fully affirmed the work achievements of each department in the past year, and put forward guiding opinions around the functional positioning, capacity building, and key work promotion of each department. He pointed out that although the group is affected by the overall downturn of the industry and the combination of "black swans" and "grey rhinoceroses", its overall operation is orderly and controllable. Faced with the current new challenges, the whole group needs to further build confidence, take "risk control, stability protection, and development promotion" as the overall policy, and strive for steady progress. He emphasized that as the central institution of the group, the headquarters should play a leading role, plan long-term strategies at a high level, implement solid measures with high standards, and accurately assist the development of the group. Secondly, we need to strengthen capacity building and explore a series of innovative management measures with leadership and professional thinking. We need to strengthen departmental collaboration, actively cooperate and collaborate to seek high-quality management efficiency. We must adhere to risk awareness, use bottom line thinking, focus on risks in various fields such as epidemic, law, credit and security, and create a stable environment for development. Five key tasks should be highlighted, with the integration of business and finance, cost control and other measures as the starting point, expanding dimensions, creatively carrying out work, and effectively building the core competitiveness of the group.

Gu Shaojun proposed that all functional departments of the headquarters should fully understand the important characteristics of the current stage of group work, timely improve their positioning, adjust their functions, and improve their work style. They should focus on "serving business activities and project production", be good at thinking and discovering, and more importantly, be good at innovation and problem-solving.

This event is not only a routine report on departmental work, but also a comprehensive review and disclosure of headquarters functions. In 2022, all people in Suzhou will return to zero mindset and focus on "heart", set direction, refine internal skills, concentrate on tackling difficulties, and seek innovation and progress.
