On the occasion of the 22nd National Safety Production Month, in order to implement the spirit of important national safety documents and promote safety production work to a new level, Suzhong Group held a video conference on the mobilization and deployment of safety production work for the month on the morning of May 31st. The group's overseas executives and heads of various departments at the headquarters attended the meeting at the main venue, while over 2000 management personnel from various units and project departments attended the meeting online through the video conferencing system at branch venues across the country.

Group Chairman Da Honghu has put forward three requirements for doing a good job in safety production:

One is to enhance political stance and strengthen the responsibility for safety production. Resolutely implement the decisions and deployments related to safety production made by the Party and the state, and continuously strengthen the awareness of the red line of safety production. Fully implement the Group's "All Staff Safety Production Responsibility List", improve the safety production responsibility system, compact the safety production responsibility chain, strengthen the responsibility system assessment, and effectively shoulder the political responsibility of safety production as the "national leader". We will firmly establish a bottom line thinking, fill in our weaknesses, strengthen our own major safety risk warning capabilities, improve the safety production system and mechanism, and strive to achieve higher quality, more sustainable, and safer development for the group.

The second is to draw lessons from accidents and carry out hidden danger control actions. Drawing lessons from recent major national accidents, firmly establishing the concept of "safety development, life first, and safety first", deeply reflecting on the shortcomings of safety management, and always carrying out safety production work with a mentality of walking on thin ice. In accordance with the latest national, industry, and group safety production documents, we will solidly organize and carry out special safety production governance actions, and promote the transformation of the hidden danger governance model to pre prevention. We will adhere to the governance of the source of security risks, solidly promote the dual prevention mechanism of security risk grading control and hidden danger investigation, effectively enhance the group's security risk control capabilities, and advance the control of major security risks in projects.

The third is to strengthen basic management and build a long-term safety mechanism. Strengthen the construction of a team of full-time safety production management personnel, carry out regular and comprehensive safety education and training, and continuously strengthen the awareness of safety production responsibility and accident prevention ability of all staff. Consolidate the construction of safety standardization, ensure the investment of safety production costs, effectively implement the working mechanism of "party and government responsibility, dual responsibility, joint management, and accountability for dereliction of duty", strengthen the execution and punishment of the group's safety production rules and regulations, and create a good atmosphere of "dare not, cannot, and do not want to" violate laws and regulations in safety production throughout the group.

Group President Chen Yongming presided over the meeting. He emphasized that all units should focus on the market and risk resolution, as well as on-site and safety production. They should both focus on the market and work hard. We should combine our own reality, formulate and implement targeted activities for our unit to learn and promote the spirit of the meeting, and form a strong atmosphere of safety production. We must continue to strengthen the implementation of responsibility measures, vigorously carry out special rectification of major accident hazards, truly achieve on-site prevention and long-term stability, and ensure the stability and improvement of the group's safety production work.

Vice President of the Group, Wang Debing, reported on the overall situation of the Group's safety production in the first half of 2023, and comprehensively improved the safety production awareness of all employees through learning and fulfilling responsibilities, strengthening training, and enhancing overall safety production awareness; Pay close attention to the key, manage the list, and firmly consolidate the main responsibility of safety production; Adhere to the theme, coordinate and collaborate, and conscientiously carry out the "Safety Production Month" activity; Source control, map based operations, and effectively promote the clearance and bottoming out of on-site hidden dangers; Innovative management, technological development, and actively improving the level of smart construction site construction; We will make arrangements for the safety production work in the second half of the year from six aspects, including preparing for emergencies, strengthening drills, and striving to improve emergency response capabilities. He requested that the main responsible persons at all levels strengthen the construction of organizational and emergency systems, consolidate the full responsibility of all staff and production, consolidate the foundation of safety production work, further strengthen the body, and comprehensively consolidate and improve the level of safety production governance. Safety regulatory personnel at all levels should have the courage to "sweat and blush", dare to "act hard", and be able to "cut the blade inward and remove the poison". They should follow the requirements of wall map operations, list management, and the "five fixed" principle to "clear the mine" item by item, act upon orders, follow orders, work at the grassroots level, rush to the front line, and make "ten thousand" efforts to prevent the occurrence of "just in case". They should interpret the loyalty, fearlessness, and responsibility of safety personnel in Suzhong through actions and results, and continue to contribute to the development of the group.

Sun Chunhuan, the Group Safety Director, interpreted the work ideas, main goals, and key points of the latest national safety production documents, requiring each unit to highlight the primary responsibility of the main responsible person, drive the implementation of the safety production position responsibility of all employees in the enterprise, effectively improve the quality of hidden danger investigation and rectification in the enterprise, and deploy and implement the "Safety Production Month" series of activities in the unit, innovate the form of activities, enrich the content of activities, and carry out frontline inspection and supervision activities to create a strong atmosphere of all employees caring about safety production.

All attendees also watched the recent typical production safety accident warning education video in the industry together, deeply reflecting and learning from lessons, and always keeping the alarm bell ringing.
