In order to improve the overall technical level of large-scale complex engineering construction of Suzhong Group and meet the needs of industry development, the group organized a large-scale complex engineering construction technology exchange and on-site observation meeting at the Xinqiao Cultural and Sports Center project from March 5th to 6th. Group leaders Qian Hong and Sun Chunhuan, Deputy Chief Engineer Tang Xiaowei, Deputy General Managers of Shanghai Regional Company Zhou Huajun and Yang Weizhong, Manager of Second Engineering Company Xu Renzhong, and technical leaders of various platform companies and units participated in the event through "online+offline" methods, and together witnessed the successful completion of the overall improvement of the largest span and heaviest tonnage steel structure roof of the group so far.

The total construction area of the Xinqiao Cultural and Sports Center project is about 110000 square meters. The main body adopts a reinforced concrete frame structure, and the roof adopts a steel structure truss form. The longitudinal span of the roof is 155.4 meters, and the transverse span is 113.6 meters. It adopts a bidirectional flat steel pipe truss, with a weight of nearly 3000 tons and a lifting height of nearly 40 meters. The overall construction scale of the steel structure of this project is the largest and heaviest steel structure roof project undertaken by the group so far, and the overall construction technology level is at the forefront of the industry.

On the morning of the 5th, after on-site understanding of the assembly of steel structure roofs and preparation for steel structure lifting, attendees held a large-scale and complex engineering construction technology exchange meeting in the project conference room. At the meeting, the technical leader of the project construction unit introduced the project overview, construction key and difficult points, as well as the optimization work carried out by the project department for the engineering key and difficult points, and played an animated video of the project construction organization design. The attendees engaged in lively discussions around the construction difficulties of the project and the overall improvement of steel structure roofs, gaining a deeper understanding and mastery of technical management in complex engineering.

Qian Hong, Vice President and Chief Engineer of the group, summarized the technical exchange activities. He fully affirmed the significance of this technical exchange meeting and hoped that the technical backbone of each unit could be inspired in future work: firstly, there should be a comprehensive consideration of complex projects, systematic scheme comparison and pre planning; Secondly, emphasis should be placed on learning basic theories. For various temporary structures that may arise in complex engineering projects, comprehensive consideration should be given to structural forms, stress characteristics, construction loads, and transmission paths to ensure construction safety; The third is to conduct in-depth and meticulous research on the special construction plan for complex engineering, ensuring the effectiveness of every detail and achieving the project goals successfully. He stated that the group will further systematically cultivate the construction capabilities of large-scale complex projects such as super high-rise buildings, ultra deep foundation pits, and ultra large spans, providing solid technical support for market expansion and high-quality development.

On the afternoon of the 5th, attendees observed the pre lifting construction of the high-altitude large-span steel structure roof of the project throughout the entire process, and the range of various parameters during the lifting process met expectations. On the morning of the 6th, the project was lifted as a whole according to the established plan, and the construction was carried out in stages. Each stage took about 1 hour to lift 6-7 meters before inspection. After confirming that there were no abnormalities, the next stage of lifting was carried out. At 6 pm, the steel structure roof was successfully raised to the design elevation after 10 hours of construction, and the overall lifting was a complete success. In the next 10 days, the project will gradually complete the welding, fixation, and non-destructive testing of the supports, and comprehensively complete the lifting and installation construction tasks of the steel structure roof main body. The project team will continue to overcome difficulties, give their all, uphold the spirit of the Iron Army, promote the culture of the Iron Army, and complete various tasks with full enthusiasm, high quality and efficiency to ensure the perfect completion of the project, adding new colors to the demonstration of the group's large-scale and complex engineering construction technology!
