On September 13-14, 2024, the self evaluation activity for intermediate professional titles in construction engineering of Jiangsu Suzhong Construction Group was held at the headquarters of the group. Relevant leaders from the human resources and social security departments of Nantong City and Hai'an City attended and provided guidance throughout the evaluation process. 101 Suzhong people participated in the defense assessment.

This evaluation is the 7th time that the company has conducted independent evaluation of intermediate professional titles. On the afternoon of the 13th, a preparatory meeting for the evaluation was held at the headquarters of the group. Zhu Weidong, Deputy Director of the Nantong Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Zhang Yue, Director of the Technical Department, Cao Weiguo, Deputy Director, Yuan Haiqiu, Deputy Director of the Hai'an Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Su Chunjin, Director of the Technical Department, relevant leaders of Suzhong Group, and 9 expert judges attended the meeting.

Deputy Director Zhu Weidong requested that all judges be fair, just, serious and conscientious, and conduct review and defense around papers and special reports to ensure high-quality completion of the review work.

Deputy Director Cao Weiguo provided business training and guidance, and made requirements for paper publication and defense.

Deputy Director Yuan Haiqiu put forward four opinions on the evaluation: firstly, conscientiously fulfill duties and enhance the sense of responsibility in the evaluation work; Secondly, adhere to standards and make objective and fair evaluations; Thirdly, standardize procedures and act in accordance with evaluation rules; The fourth is to strictly maintain confidentiality and uphold the discipline of professional title evaluation work.

Group President Chen Yongming expressed gratitude to the supervisory department for their support and concern towards the group's independent review work. He requested that all expert judges strictly exercise their review powers based on the principles of fairness and impartiality, adhere to quality and standards, and reflect the professional level and value of the expert judges. At the same time, the evaluation of professional titles should be combined with the cultivation of professional and technical talents in the group, and potential talents should be identified through the application and defense of evaluation materials.

Qian Hong, the Chief Engineer of the Group, served as the Director of the Evaluation Committee and presided over the meeting. Zong Xiaohong, the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, emphasized the disciplinary requirements for the evaluation.

After the meeting, the expert judges studied the evaluation documents and divided them into four professional (disciplinary) groups to review 101 application materials, forming preliminary assessment opinions. On September 14th, the expert judges were divided into two assessment groups and four defense groups. The 101 applicants who passed the review and submitted to the judging committee were assessed through a combination of on-site defense and video conferencing.

After the defense, the judging committee held a voting and discussion meeting with the executive committee, and the independent evaluation of intermediate professional titles was successfully completed.
